Nové Město

As I mentioned in the previous post, we were staying in New Town, also called Nové Město. New Town was founded in the 14th century and is known for its wider streets and modern shops. I still felt like there was a good mixture of modern and historical vibes in New Town. Since we were living in New Town, I thought I would share some pictures of it. We mostly spent our time in Old Town. I feel like the architecture and charm in Old Town are totally cozy, warm, and beautiful, so I loved hanging out there.

One thing we noticed was that eating out in New Town was actually a bit cheaper than in Old Town. In general, eating out in Prague is quite inexpensive, but in Old Town, the prices were sometimes comparable to those in Denmark, probably because Old Town is a major tourist attraction. So, if you want to save some money on one of your meals each day, New Town would be the best choice.
