Prague Castle and St. Vitus Cathedral

Okay, get ready for a bunch of photos! We visited Prague Castle and St. Vitus Cathedral, and there was so much to photograph. We also went up to see the view from the cathedral, and it was amazing.

Funny story: I thought I had bought tickets to see the inside of the cathedral—just assumed and purchased them. Then we found out I had actually bought tickets to see the view from the tower. Guys… it was a 100-meter-high tower with 287 steps. I already hate stairmasters, so yeah, it was tough. I needed several breaks because my legs were burning. I think I was a big disappointment to my husband, haha.

The worst part was when I turned around and asked my husband if it was all right, knowing he has issues with his knees, and realized I had bought tickets for the tower. Since it was too late and the tickets were already bought, he just said, ‘Yeah, all right, let’s go.’ It turned out that even though he was the one with knee issues, I was the one struggling, taking several breaks on that never ending staircase. After we finally got to the top, the view was amazing, and we enjoyed it, until we had to go down the same stairs again. By the time we came down, I was done. I was like, “Yeah, that’s it. We’ve seen what we needed to see” and we headed back to Old Town.

On our way back, I then realized we totally forgot to go inside the cathedral… which was the part I was most excited about. It was embarrassing. But yeah, it’s not the end of the world! We laugh about it now, and honestly, it’s so typical of me… I’m not even surprised by my own stunts anymore, haha.
