On the day of our shoot, we happened to see a couple and their friends or family who had brought several vintage cars to the location we chose for our shoot. Funny enough, my husband had really wanted to do a shoot with a vintage car, but when we looked into it, we decided to save money and skip it. By chance, we saw these cars and asked if we could borrow one for our shoot. They were so kind and said yes. It felt like it was just meant to be!
When we talked with these incredibly kind people, I received one of the best pieces of advice for our relationship. There was an older lady who said something that truly stuck with me: ‘The best thing you can do in a relationship is look at yourself in the mirror and ask, “Would I want to marry this person?”‘ I absolutely loved it! Instead of holding onto endless expectations about how your partner should be, it shifts the focus to yourself and the kind of person you want to be in the relationship.
It’s such an obvious advice, yet so easy to forget. So often, we concentrate on what we want from our loved ones rather than what we offer our loved ones. That simple, inspiring conversation made the shoot and the entire day feel even more special
BEHIND THE SCENE
I love moments pictures: natural casual ones and I got those from our behind the scene pictures. Just us being us and having fun and I thought I would also share some of those moments:
Thanks to InFocus for these fun, not-so-serious photos! I absolutely love them! <3
