Birthday celebration at Restaurant Nögen

A few weeks ago, we decided to celebrate Thuva’s birthday at Restaurant Nögen. It was my first time trying this restaurant, and I was genuinely impressed.

First of all, the restaurant is beautiful. The interior is stunning, creating such a warm and inviting atmosphere. But what truly sets this place apart is its concept: there are no fixed menus. The restaurant is dedicated to reducing food waste, so they work with whatever ingredients and raw materials they receive each day to create a unique menu for their customers. This means you never really know what the menu will be until you arrive.

I absolutely love the concept! Of course, the environmental aspect and the effort to reduce food waste are amazing, but it’s also such a cool experience for the customer. It gives you a good conscience and, at the same time, an exciting culinary adventure. The whole menu felt like a unique experience, and I love that if I go there again, I won’t know what to expect since the menu constantly changes. Plus, it’s so interesting to see how creative they get with each course.

We chose the 10-course meal. You can choose between a 7-course and a 10-course meal, and guys… it was delicious. We enjoyed every bit of it! I would definitely recommend it to anyone. I loved the food, the service, the concept, the interior—everything was just perfect.
