Holidays can be stressful. I love December, and each year I try to focus on simply enjoying the season without putting too much pressure on everything being perfect. I don’t over-plan or stress too much about it, and that approach works well for me!
At the same time being stressful, the holiday season can also feel cozy and spark joy with all the Christmas decorations and Christmas lights. Sometimes it can also feel a little sad; it’s the final chapter of the year, and you might either feel totally motivated or completely unmotivated, thinking, “Well, what’s the point now anyway?”
I guess what I’m trying to say is that the Christmas holiday can bring a mix of feelings all at once: joy, peace, stress, too many plans, overdoing things, sadness, and so many more emotions. It also depends on how the year has been, whether you’re in the Christmas spirit or not.
