One of the traditional pastry to eat in Prague is Chimney cake. We saw these everywhere and they looked delicious and I was very curious of how it tasted. Above shown pictures are just one of the Chimney cake stores we saw, but that one wasn’t the one we tried :)
I choose one without icecream due to my IBS but also I really craved strawberries! First of all I was surprised how heavy it was to eat. The pastry tasted like the pastry we eat in Denmark called “kanelsnegle” actually which makes sense since this is also made with cinnamon bun. And then just with ice cream or fruits and chocolate. It was delicious but I couldn’t eat all of it. I think I would give it like 6 out of 10. Nothing I would crave again and again. It’s pretty, but the taste; It’s like ice cream on “kanelsnegel” instead of waffle, so that’s why it’s heavy. But the taste was good. We wanted to try with different tastes in a different store but we didn’t get to.
