I’ve been slowly decorating our home, and I absolutely love getting into the Christmas spirit. This year, I’m in a different place since I’ve moved away from Copenhagen, and I’ve been eagerly looking forward to transforming our space. So far, I’m loving the results. My goal is to create a traditional, cozy Christmas vibe.
Last year, I went for Christmas decor with a decorations looking like “soap bubbles” which made it very playful and I mixed it with colors like gold, rose gold, and dark purple. This time, I’m aiming for a classic combination of red, green, and gold. I want it to feel as traditional as possible—nothing entirely new or creative, but warm and cozy.
There’s still a lot I want to do for Christmas, but I’m patiently waiting for my next paycheck as I write this blog post on November 29th. Tomorrow is payday, which means more shopping for Christmas decorations!
I’ve also ordered a few decoration pieces online that I’m waiting for to decorate further. I can’t wait to share more details with you guys. But for now, here’s a glimpse of what we have so far:
