Alanya Diaries 2024

In October (I know, I’m behind as usual, xD), we went to Alanya for a little over a week with some friends! It was amazing. We had a fantastic time, and I loved everything about it! It was very relaxing. We stayed at LABRANDA Alantur Resort – All Inclusive, and I’d rate it 3.5 out of 5 stars.

Although it’s a 5-star resort, there was one major reason I didn’t rate it higher: the food. We weren’t really happy with it and it was pretty much the same every day for breakfast, lunch, and dinner. There were some slight variations, but not enough to feel truly different. I was expecting more variety, especially since it’s an all-inclusive resort where food is such an important factor, or at least that it tasted a lot better. That’s why I settled on 3.5 stars. Also we know that in Turkey the food is really really good in general and we did experience that in the city.

Everything else, however, was perfect! The resort had a private beach, three swimming pools, a tennis court, basketball, volleyball, and much more. I loved chilling there with friends. They even had board games, which we enjoyed a lot. It was exactly what I needed: a relaxing vacation without too much on the agenda.

We spent our days hanging out, playing games, having great conversations, and enjoying activities like tennis, volleyball, and lounging by the pool. We swam both in the pool and at the beach. It was just so, so nice.

And a bonus: I got to see sunsets almost every day! This was the cherry on top. The sound of the ocean, the vibrant sunsets, the colorful skies, beautiful nature, and good company; like what more could I ask for? (Well, except for better food, haha.)

We also visited the city a couple of days, which was really nice! The shopping was great, and the food in the city was definitely better than at the resort. :D

Anyway… get ready for a TON of pictures, because I couldn’t decide which ones not to post!
