It’s the weekend, which means it’s a day for catching up with friends and family. So here we go. Yesterday, I woke up at 5 AM and enjoyed a very laid-back, chill morning, followed by a GRWM session with good music. Love those kinds of mornings!

Skincare

I thought I would share my skincare routine with you guys today. I started off with my Aqua Bomb Hydrating Toner to ensure a clean face. In the morning, I simply rinse my face with cold water and then apply toner. There are days when I skip this step, though.

After that, I applied a Bright Me Up Serum from London Botanical Laboratories which not only smells amazing but also contains Vitamin C! Following that, I used my moisturizer; antioxidant day cream from Urban Kind and Eye Repair Cream from Cera Vé. Lastly, the most crucial step; I applied my SPF +50 from Shiseido.

For my lips, I applied some very basic vaseline ;)

Make-up

As for make-up I started with my primer; POREfection Serum-Infused Primer from Mudmasky, which as you can tell by its name, feels like serum and I love how it leaves my skin soft and primed for applying my makeup. Next, I use my contour from MAC cosmetics, concealer from Kat V D, foundation from Nars and my all-time favorite powder from MAC.

Now, that was the base. Afterwards, I applied my setting spray from Maybelline, followed by the Huda Beauty setting powder and then I applied my Maybelline setting spray once again.

As for my brows I use a brow pencil from w7 and a brow gel from MCoBeauty.

Lastly I wore my lipliner from MAC in Mahagony and lipstick from Morphe to finish off my look.

Lately I have been lazy with using too much eye makeup and I really love the makeup look without eye makeup. So I didn’t wear eyeliner or mascara today. Btw; the lazy part is removing mascara (i hate it, so I try to avoid it).

Hair-styling products

So, I have curly hair, and while I’m still learning to manage my curls effectively, I’ve found some great products along the way. One of my favorites is the 2nd day curling spray from Cantu; it really defines my curls beautifully. To finish off my hair routine, I use the Color WOW EXTRA Mist-ical Shine Spray, that my sister gave me. I’m absolutely in love with this product; it not only sets my hair but also gives it a gorgeous shine, making it look incredibly healthy!
