Hi guys! <3
I thought it was time for a life update. Let me be honest: I haven’t been very consistent with the blog lately, but you know how life is; I’ve had so much going on, and I also wanted to really be present and enjoy life. As you might have read in one of my previous posts, I have been very overwhelmed! You know, anxiety issues when things are bad are one thing, but I also deal with anxiety issues when things are too good, so I had to handle that as well.
But yeah, back to my life update: Well, as you guys know if you’ve been following me on Instagram, I’m now a Mrs., a wife, a married woman… I know, it’s weird xD hahaha. We had the most amazing, perfect, chill wedding, and I can’t stop smiling thinking back on those days, but yeah, that’s for another blog post. The reason I haven’t posted about the wedding day and reception is that I want to wait for the pictures xD. Right now, I only have iPhone pictures, which I also love and have posted on Instagram, but for the blogpost, I will wait for the other pictures, I think (I might change my mind tho).
After feeling overwhelmed following the wedding weeks, we decided to spontaneously take a trip to Prague! It was so cozy and exactly what we needed. I’ll be posting more about that on the blog as well :) But that is also one of the reasons for my MIA. I just needed time with my partner to eat good food, explore, and enjoy a change of environment.
After that, when I got home, I was finally motivated and energized again to get back into some healthy routines: meditation, yoga, stretches, journaling, reading, workouts, cleaning, and eating healthier. I’ve also been practicing not being on the phone as much. I’ve put my phone on “Do Not Disturb” for the most part, and I’ve removed all social media notifications so I won’t get distracted. I’ve also removed all work notifications so I won’t get distracted or feel guilty for not working. And this has been amazing! I have more time and more energy. I’m always surprised when I notice how much energy and space social media and my phone take, and I always feel way more relaxed when I take a step back and give myself some space. I want to continue working on this.
Besides focusing on my health, I’ve been sleeping a lot more than usual. I think my body has been exhausted, so I’m trying to listen to what it needs and not push myself too much.
My summer vacation is soon over. I have a few more plans, but besides that, I just want some time to recharge, mentally prepare for work, and rest.
So this is my life at the moment. In the next few days, I will update the blog with what I’ve been up to lately. I just wanted to first write a life update and reflect before getting back on track with content creation as well :)
That’s it from me for this blogpost! <3 Take care! <3
